1. About Us & Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Dao Essence website (dao-essence-shop.vercel.app) and the purchase of our products. By accessing our website or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Dao Essence provides personalized Eastern wisdom ritual services. Each service package includes one-on-one remote practitioner consultation, energy alignment guidance, and digitally delivered ritual practice materials.

If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our website or make any purchases.

2. Services & How It Works

Our service model is straightforward:

  1. Purchase: You purchase a ritual service package through our website, powered by Creem's secure checkout.
  2. Confirmation: After successful payment, you will receive a service confirmation by email, typically within minutes.
  3. Consultation: Contact us at support@daoessentia.com to schedule your one-on-one remote practitioner consultation.
  4. Fulfillment: Following your consultation, your personalized ritual guidance materials and energy practice resources are digitally delivered to your registered email address, completing your service package.

All service deliverables are provided digitally. Dao Essence is a digital services provider; no physical goods are sold or shipped as part of any transaction.

3. Pricing & Payment

All prices are displayed in US Dollars (USD). Prices include the full digital service package including practitioner consultation and all digitally delivered materials.

Payment is processed securely by Creem (creem.io). We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. We do not store your payment card information.

We reserve the right to change service prices at any time. Price changes will not affect orders already completed.

4. Refund & Return Policy

✅ 15-Day Refund Policy

We stand behind our services. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may request a refund within 15 days of purchase, subject to the conditions below.

How to request a refund:

  • Email us at support@daoessentia.com with your order number and a description of your actual situation and the reason for your refund request
  • We will review your request and respond within 3 business days
  • Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method via Creem

Conditions:

  • Refund requests must include a clear explanation of your actual circumstances — general dissatisfaction without explanation may not qualify
  • Service packages for which the consultation has been completed and digital materials have been delivered are not eligible for a refund, as the core service has been fully rendered
  • If you experience a technical issue preventing access to your delivered digital materials, contact us within 7 days and we will resolve it or issue a refund
  • Refund eligibility applies to the digital service package only; no physical returns are applicable

5. Voucher Terms

  • Each digital service package is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
  • Vouchers are non-transferable and may only be redeemed by the purchaser
  • service packages are non-refundable after delivery
  • Lost or stolen service access codes: contact us at support@daoessentia.com and we will verify your purchase and reissue
  • We reserve the right to cancel fraudulently obtained services

7. Intellectual Property

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dao Essence shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.

Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or your purchase shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our website and are not liable for temporary unavailability due to maintenance or technical issues.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our website and digital services are provided "as is." We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, except as required by applicable law.

Cultural and spiritual properties described in connection with our services are based on traditional Eastern wisdom beliefs and are not scientifically verified claims.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with generally applicable principles of international commercial law. We are committed to resolving disputes amicably. If you have a complaint, please contact us first at support@daoessentia.com and we will work to resolve it promptly.

If a dispute cannot be resolved amicably, it shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the competent courts of the jurisdiction in which you reside, as required by local consumer protection laws.

13. Digital Product Declaration

Dao Essence provides digital service packages exclusively — these are services delivered electronically, including personalized practitioner consultations and digitally delivered ritual practice guidance materials. No physical goods are sold or shipped as part of any transaction on this platform.

We comply with all applicable platform policies, including those of our payment processor Creem. All transactions through our checkout process are for digital service packages completed and delivered entirely online.
