Frequently Asked Questions

About traditional dream symbol reading, and how to use this tool.

Dream interpretation is a thousand-year-old Chinese tradition of linking the images seen in dreams to real-life omens. This tool gathers several classical dream books and presents them as a cultural reference.

Different classical books may read the same image differently. When the sources agree, we show an auspicious or inauspicious tendency; when they genuinely conflict, we would rather not judge — no label is shown. Context always matters.

No. Everything here is offered as cultural and self-exploration reference only. For any serious decision, real-world conditions and sound judgment come first.

Classical dream books were written in different eras and schools, so the same image is naturally read differently. We show the variants side by side so you can compare.

Dreams are saved automatically the moment you interpret them — reading and illustration included, nothing uploaded. Expand any entry to see them side by side. Over time the journal reveals which symbols recur, and the Fingerprint tab turns them into your personal dream themes — a long-term record no single reading can give.

Tap “Generate illustration” and the painting appears in a popup — it is saved to that journal entry automatically, so you can find it later under the Journal tab by expanding the entry. Illustrations are kept in our image gallery permanently. Note: the same interface language is used for the reading; if you switch languages afterwards, tap “Dream reading” once to regenerate it in the new language.
